Love singing! Then why not join a series of choral

workshops with Kenny Thomson


As well as learning aspects of vocal and choral

technique from the renowned Kenny Thomson, participants will have the opportunity to perform new choral settings of Hay’s poetry in Gaelic, Scots and English, including Kenny’s own setting of one of Campbell Hay’s most well-known poems, Seeker Reaper. No knowledge of Gaelic or Scots required! Participants will have the opportunity to perform at the centenary concert in Tarbert on 5 December 2015 as well as the opportunity to record at least one new choral work for the George Campbell Hay Centenary CD.


Kenny is secretary of the Association of Gaelic Choirs and has been conductor of the Glasgow Gaelic Musical Association for over 30 years.
